Overwatch 2 will have new story missions and a new hero

last month game director, Aaron Keller(Aaron Keller), announced the cancellation of the long-awaited story mode of Overwatch 2 due to the ambition and unfeasibility of its development. However, Keller noted that story missions will still be present, allowing players to see what happens to their favorite Overwatch characters. And now we have received official confirmation.

Story missions are not new tooverwatch. The game first introduced them back in 2017, and it was sort of a prequel, revealing the events that led to the dissolution of the Overwatch organization. The following events, Storm Rising and Retribution, also told important moments in the history of characters such as Cassidy (Cassidy), Tracer (Tracer) and Jack Morrison (now known as Soldier: 76 (Soldier: 76)).

When to expect

New story-driven games in Overwatch 2 will be available on August 10th.
