Germany buys Swedish and Israeli electronic warfare systems for upgraded EF-2000 Typhoon ECR fighters and Sikorsky CH-53GS/GE helicopters

German planes and helicopters will receive new electronic warfare systems. Companies will become suppliers

Saab and Elbit Systems from Sweden and Israel respectively.

Elbit Systems signed a contract with the Ministrydefense of Germany for the supply of electronic warfare systems for transport helicopters Sikorsky CH-53GS / GE Sea Stallion. The modernization will take place at the Airbus Helicopters plant.

CH-53GS / GE Sea Stallion will receive systemsradar warnings, radar barrier sensors and countermeasure systems. The manufacturer claims that the electronic warfare complex will quickly localize a wide range of airborne threats.
