The main difference between iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max is ...

After the announcement of Google Pixel 5, all eyes are now on the Apple iPhone 12, which could be unveiled on October 13, for

day before OnePlus 8.According to a recent report, Apple will introduce five models this month, including an entry-level variant. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to be the main flagship model this year, meaning it will have an edge over the Pro version in more than just screen size, weight and battery capacity.

It is unclear at this point what makes the two models different from each other, but there may be some answers in the last tweet from one insider.

IPhone 11 Pro Max Primary Sensor Sizeis 1.4 μm, and in simple words, the larger this figure, the larger the pixel size. A large pixel usually produces better photos, especially in low light conditions, as it can collect more information than a small pixel sensor.

We previously heard that the iPhone 12 will have morelarger 12MP sensors than the iPhone 11 for better image quality. Young adds to this by stating that the iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature a 1.7μm sensor, and in theory, this should dramatically improve camera performance, especially at night.

So the camera may be the biggest difference between the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Also, only the iPhone 12 Pro Max is rumored to belikely to be equipped with new sensor bias stabilization technology. Obviously this will provide image stabilization to the iPhone 12 Pro Max's ultra-wide angle lens.
It is also expected to be equipped with a newmodule for a wide-angle lens called 7P. It is expected to have a 1/1.9-inch sensor, compared to the 1/3.6-inch sensor of the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The iPhone 12 Pro is expected to cost $1,049, while the base Pro Max will cost $1,149. The iPhone SE 2020 apparently won't be updated anytime soon.

Young also reiterates that the 2020 iPhone SE will not be updated in 2021, which makes sense as Apple is set to release the LTE-only iPhone 12 early next year.

He claims the 2020 successor to the iPhone SE will have a larger 6.06-inch LCD screen, 5G connectivity, and the iPhone 11's dual-camera system.

He also has some information about the iPhone.13, which is currently unavailable for a long time. The non-Pro iPhone 13 models are expected to inherit the iPhone 12 Pro Max's camera, and these variants are expected to feature even larger 1.9μm blocks.

Finally, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max could also be the first iPhones with built-in Touch ID and ProMotion displays with adaptive refresh rates, as we saw on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
