Global warming will make nights warm faster than days

Scientists from the University of Exeter have found that global climate change will make nights on Earth

warmer faster than the days. The researchers came to this conclusion after studying weather observation data around the world for 34 years.

In particular, scientists analyzed recordstemperature, cloud cover and humidity for the period 1983 to 2017. During this time, the night temperature on 54% of the Earth's territory increased significantly faster than the day temperature.

Scientists suggest that the reason for this may beshift of cloud cover. The fact is that clouds help cool the Earth during the day and keep warm at night. The researchers also noticed that in cloudy regions, the climate becomes more humid.

Asymmetrical warming can harm animals, insects or plants.
