EU citizens may not have enough vaccine against COVID-19

There will not be enough COVID-19 vaccine doses for the entire population until the end of 2021.

It is noted that the EU has ordered more than a billion dosespotential coronavirus vaccines. They are being developed by companies such as AstraZeneca, Sanofi and Johnson & Johnson. The contract is with Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, a division of Johnson & Johnson, was concluded in early October. If the drug passes all safety tests, the EU will purchase doses for 200 million people.

At the moment, negotiations are underway with representatives of CureVac, Moderna and Pfizer about similar conditions for the delivery of the vaccine.
