Fans of FromSoftware's action RPG are in for a major expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, for Elden Ring. Gamers had hope that the DLC

will be released in 2023, but judging by the financial report of Kadokawa Corporation, it will have to wait.

What is known

In a report by Kadokawa Corporation, which includesincludes Bandai Namco, the company plans to make significant profits in fiscal 2023 from sales of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Spike Chunsoft's new games, and mobile games from Kadokawa.

In turn, the Shadow of the Erdtree add-on for Elden Ring is indicated in the &#8220;expected long-term profit&#8221; column.

This most likely means the next fiscal year and that the DLC for Elden Ring will not be released until April 1, 2024.
