Kamchatka. Avachinskaya Bay.Small bay Bezymyannaya. Exactly 4 days ago @lefffu filmed her video there, which I published on my page. This video was taken this morning. Terrible smell. My friend dived in two places today. A little later I’ll post a video of what he saw there. Today we visited 4 places on a motor boat. Stanitsky Bay, Bezymyannaya, Grotovaya Bay area (just at the exit from the bay to the Pacific Ocean), Shlyupochnaya Bay. The latter is located on the other side of Avacha Bay. The consequences are, of course, visible everywhere. In some places near the shore, the color of the water is very muddy; you can visually see the border where the water is cleaner. Sea urchins, animals, crabs, and fish were washed up on the shores of Bezymyannaya and Shlyupochnaya. #savequiet #safetheocean #kamchatka #pacificocean @_svetlana__radionova_ @greenpeace @greenpeaceru @snowave_kamchatka @lefffu @yuridud.life @yurydud

At the end of September, Kamchatka surfers talked aboutchanging the color of the water on the Khalaktyr beach on the shores of the Avacha Gulf of the Pacific Ocean. They complained of temporary deterioration in vision and skin irritation after swimming. And in social networks there were messages from local residents about dead sea animals washed ashore.

What is the cause of the disaster?

The reason for the pollution of the coastal waters of the Pacific Ocean in Kamchatka could be two landfills with toxic waste, which are now being examined by specialists.

According to the governor, in versions of pollutionthe Kozelsk polygon of pesticides and the Radygin polygon are mentioned. The publication "Kam.24" notes that in the region, there have already been leaks from the burial of toxic chemicals under the Kozelsky volcano. According to information from open sources, more than 100 tons of hazardous substances have been stored there since the 1970s.

The website of the Kamchatka government says that scientists are working on several versions of the origin of toxins in the ocean, but the poisonous substance itself, which is in the water, has not yet been established.

You must first study the samples and check whichtype of toxins may be present in the water. These can be toxins of man-made or natural origin - for example, it can be toxic microalgae, the concentration of which is maximum in our water areas. Toxins can also be of volcanic and seismic origin.

The situation off the coast of Kamchatka.Pacific coast.⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ A number of bloggers posted information about the disaster!!! On the shores of the Pacific Ocean, the extinct Khalaktyrsky beach and Avacha Bay. ⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ We are grateful for your efficiency and concern! ⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ In turn, we organized a raid from the first messages (we conduct it both on a regular basis and on a specific fact). We take samples both in the ocean itself and in adjacent water bodies - a river, a stream flowing into the ocean in this place. ⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ They gave the command to make a number of requests, as well as carry out activities:⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ 1. A specific order to conduct a raid on this occasion, and not a group-wide one.⁣⁣⠀ 2. Photo and video recording of materials within raid. 3. Act of inspection of the territory.⁣⁣⠀ 4. Request about the facts of excess to the local Ministry of Natural Resources.⁣⁣⠀ 5. Contact the blogger to clarify the information.⁣⁣⠀ 6. Request to the local Ministry of Health about cases of appeal and availability of information.⁣⁣ ⠀ 7. Request to the Investigative Committee about the availability of information and verification within the framework of their powers.⠀ 8. Requests to Rospotrebnadzor and Roshydromet about the availability of information on pollutants. ⠀ 9. Daily certificate-report on the actual state of affairs and the work done. ⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ The information is contradictory - the resonance is great. I hope law enforcement agencies will get involved. We transfer all the results to local authorities and expect the same efficiency and openness from everyone.⠀ #rosprirodnadzor #kamchatka #quietokean

Kamchatka SOS ‼️ ⠀ Kamchatka — it's alreadysecond environmental disaster this year. If you have already forgotten, the first one was in Norilsk. ⠀ All summer I watched tourists who were lucky enough to fly to Kamchatka and see all this beauty with their own eyes. It was great to see how tourism was developing and people were interested not in Thailand and Bali, but in Baikal, the Far East and Altai. ⠀ But our authorities, as always, ruined everything. ⠀ Possible cause of the environmental disaster in Kamchatka — Heptyl leak (this is a rocket fuel used in particular on Russian Proton launch vehicles, which can cause death or harm to health: cause blindness and cancer). ⠀ A similar situation occurred with Chernobyl — The authorities were silent, although they knew. As a result, animals, people and nature suffered.
