Castle, Zombies, Two Smoking Barrels: Netflix will release Resident Evil Infinite Darkness series with Claire and Leon

2021 risks becoming the best year for Resident Evil fans yet. Following the announced series from Andrew Dabb, Capcom

also presented Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.

The executive producer of the project announcedResident Evil: Infinite Darkness at TGS Live 2020. Gamers were promised a CGI series based on the franchise, which would tell about the adventures of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Judging by the first trailer, the action will take place in a castle, and the main danger will be the classic zombies for the series.

Netflix will release eight episodeswith a duration of an hour. The showrunner will be the same Andrew Dabb, but Infinite Darkness is a separate project from the series about Jade and Billy Wesker, which Netflix announced earlier. Bronwen Hughes has been confirmed as the director of the first two episodes.
