Insider: maps for Battlefield 6 are being developed for 128+ players

DICE has already abandoned support for Battlefield 5, turning its attention to the next game in the series. The developers are in no hurry

Tom Henderson, who has already become famoustrue leaks about Call of Duty, he started talking about Battlefield 6. Tom previously claimed that DICE would return to the modern war setting, and the information was even confirmed by VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb.

According to Henderson, maps for Battlefield 6are designed for 128 players. The insider notes that DICE will “optional” add a 64v64 mode, and the main modes will remain 32v32 battles.

"Battlefield News:maps are designed for 128+ players, but 32v32 would also be a standard playlist... They are designed with this number of [128+] players in mind. That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be 64v64. The core of the game is still 32v32," Henderson writes.

Tom also notes DICE's interestin a new battle royale due to the success of Warzone. However, the implementation of the regime is only being discussed. Perhaps the KB in Battlefield 6 will repeat the situation with BF5's Firestorm.

Speaking about the end of support for Battlefront 2, an Electronic Arts representative noted that the future of Battlefield will be shown in 2021. Therefore, gamers will wait a long time for official details.
