When?

According to Chinese sources, the official presentation of the new products will take place next week. And more precisely, November 24th. But this date has not yet been officially confirmed.

Thanks to TENAA we already know the characteristicsand the design of Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The younger model will receive a 6.53-inch IPS FHD+ display, a 13-megapixel front camera, as well as a main one with three sensors and a 48-megapixel main sensor. The new product should be powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 22.5 W fast charging, and the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chip paired with 4/6/8 GB of RAM will be responsible for the performance of the smartphone.

The older model will be equipped with a 120 Hz FHD+ IPS screen of 6.67 inches, a 4820 mAh battery with 33-watt charging, a Snapdragon 750G chip and a main camera with a 108 MP main sensor.

According to the same source, Redmi Note 9 5G will start in China at 1000 yuan (about $150), and Redmi Note 9 Pro will cost more - from 1500 yuan (~$230).
