Artificial intelligence can partially replace programmers in the future

The RIA Novosti publication interviewed representatives of IT companies to find out whether artificial intelligence can

(AI) will partially replace programmers in the future.

Head of Development Department SearchInformbelieves that the work of programmers is optimized by assistant tools. However, the work itself will not become easier: software systems become more complex over time, and the volume of data processing grows.

Selectel Service Development Director is confident thatall simple work in IT will go to machines and artificial intelligence. But “we definitely won’t stop needing programmers.” Society will need highly qualified specialists capable of performing non-trivial tasks.

The CEO of TAD Development thinks that in the next ten years such specialties as automation and tester will disappear.

In general, the industry is now experiencing problems with attracting specialists. Developers of all specializations are in demand.
