Source: Qualcomm has received a license to ship Huawei chips

Recently, information appeared on the Internet that Intel, Sony, Omnivision, Samsung and LG received permission to cooperate with Huawei,

and now another company has been given a license.

What is known

According to a source from a Chinese publicationITHome, chipmaker Qualcomm can now supply its processors to Huawei. Unfortunately, there is no exact confirmation of this yet. If the information is reliable, then it is likely that future flagship P and Mate series smartphones will be powered by top-end Snapdragon chips. By the way, it was previously reported that Huawei also plans to use MediaTek processors in its devices.

Let's remember, according to Bloomberg, Huaweiis going to build a factory in China to produce its own chips without using US technology. Naturally, you shouldn’t wait for the release of top solutions right away. The company will start from scratch. The first chip is rumored to be a 28nm SoC for Internet of Things devices. It could be released as early as next year.
