How to disable notification requests inChrome
The method will be the same for Mac, Windows, and Linux.
- Open the Chrome browser.
- Enter the following link in the address bar and press Return / Enter:
chrome: // settings / content / notifications
- Turn off the switch next to “Ask permission before posting (recommended).”
- The item name should change to “Blocked”. This means that notifications are disabled.
Now you do not have to block endless request windows by browsing various sites.
If for some reason you want to return this function, it is just as easy to do.
How to enable notification requests inChrome
- Open Chrome and follow the link:
chrome: // settings / content / notifications
- Next to the “Blocked” item, press the switch to activate the function.
After that, you will see pop-ups with requests on sites as before.
