You will need the Playstation 4 gamepad itselfDualShock 4 and the modern Apple TV with tvOS 13 and later. The process of connecting a gamepad is no different from the process of connecting other Bluetooth devices to the Apple TV.
How to connect a gamepad from Playstation 4 to Apple TV
- To get started, turn on your Apple TV.
- Enter the DualShock 4 gamepad in connection mode, while holding down the PS logo button and the Share button. Hold them until the gamepad panel lights up.
- On Apple TV, go toSettings, then inRemote controls and devicesand selectBluetooth.
- Here, select the Playstation DualShock 4 gamepad to connect it to the Apple TV.
Once the gamepad connects to your Apple TV, you can start using it in games.
Most of the buttons and functions of the Playstation DualShock 4 controller work on Apple TV, but not all. So far, the vibration, motion detection and headphone jacks do not work.
