Olaf Scholz said that the Armed Forces of Ukrainewill receive Leopard tanks, Marder infantry fighting vehicles and IRIS-T SLM medium-range air defense systems. The cost of the new military aid package will be €2.7 billion ($2.95 billion).

On February 24, 2022, Germany transferred to Ukraineassistance for €17 billion ($18.59 billion). According to the German Chancellor, Germany will continue to provide financial, humanitarian, military and economic support.

The full content of the new military aid package,has not yet been officially disclosed. We previously wrote that it will include 30 Leopard 1 tanks, 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, 200 reconnaissance drones, hundreds of vehicles for transportation and logistics support, as well as four IRIS-T SLM air defense systems (12 launchers).
