Following the Huawei Mate 40, OnLeaks has published high-quality images of the Pro version of the smartphone.
What is known
Huawei Mate 40 Pro looks similar to the younger onemodel, but at the same time it has larger dimensions (162.8×75.5×9 mm). The smartphone will also receive a large round protrusion for the main quad camera with a periscope module, a 6.7-inch waterfall screen with a cutout for two front cameras and a built-in fingerprint scanner.

In Huawei Mate 40 Pro, the company will move away from the concepttouch side buttons. Instead, regular physical keys will be installed. The flagship will also have a USB-C charging port on the bottom. There will also be speaker grilles, a microphone and a slot for two SIMs.
If you believe the rumors, the smartphone will be powered by the new flagship SoC HiSilicon Kirin 1020. The chip will be built using a 5-nanometer process technology.
When to expect
Huawei Mate 40 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro should be presented this fall. There are no more precise release dates yet.
