Adjustable projectiles learned to hit moving targets

A modified version of Excalibur shells, which are in service with the Army, took part in the tests

Excalibur is equipped with a built-in GPS system,thanks to which the operator can determine the current course of the projectile and adjust it, if necessary, using air rubles located in the tail of the rocket. The fin at the front of the Excalibur allows it to glide up to 40 km.

Development of a new version of an adjustable projectile,who took part in the tests, conducted since 2014. The main difference between the Excalibur Ib and the Excalibur S, which participated in the tests, is the presence of the latest laser guidance system. Thanks to her, a rocket can hit moving targets.

Earlier, the U.S. military tested the GBU-69 / B miniature bomb, dropping it onto a car from an attack drone.
