End of support for Cortana for Windows onThis is actually expected news, as at the May Build conference, Microsoft announced the introduction of a new tool called Windows Copilot, which will be available on the taskbar. Using artificial intelligence, this new tool will provide advanced features, including content summarization, text editing, asking questions, and configuring computer settings.
Cortana was first introduced by Microsoftin Windows 10 in 2015, allowing users to set reminders, open programs, and ask questions through voice commands. However, in recent years, Microsoft has gradually limited the use of Cortana on Windows. With the release of Windows 11, this digital assistant lost its visible presence on the taskbar and no longer showed up during the initial system setup.
