The tests were carried out at the plant in Denver, StateColorado. The inflatable module exploded after the pressure reached 18 kg/sq. cm, which is about six times the operating pressure for space housing.
A similar test was conducted by Lockheed Martin inend of 2022. It also ended with the planned explosion of the inflatable module. The key feature of the new test was that before the explosion, the module was thrown into the air.

Now that Lockheed Martin has completed the secondtest, the US company must evaluate the operational capabilities of the design. After that, Lockheed will move on to full-scale testing, adding a number of other components, including life support hatches.
