So, according to the informant, the new product will become more compact than the current model Sony WF-1000XM4. In addition, the headphones will be lighter (5.9 g versus 7.3 g).
Device battery lifewill remain the same - up to 24 hours with the case. But at the same time, the gadget will be able to boast of faster charging (3 minutes in the case is enough for 1 hour of headphone operation). By the way, the case will charge via USB-C and using Qi wireless technology. The new product will also be equipped with improved microphones for conversations and a function that will allow you to connect to several devices at once.
When to expect
Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the Sony WF-1000XM5 yet. Most likely, the headphones will be presented in July or August.
