Change the unlock icon on iPhone X using the LatchKey tweak

When you use Face ID to unlock iPhone X, an animation appears on the smartphone screen indicating

that it was unlocked. The system does not allow you to customize the unlock icon.

Luckily, there is a new free jailbreak tweakLatchkey, which allows you to change the appearance of the unlock icon on the iPhone X.

The screenshot above shows the available options. You can see various display methods and options for the appearance of the unlock icon.

LatchKey adds an entire section to the Settings app.

In it you can configure the following:

  • Turn tweak on and off.
  • Select icon location.
    • Status bar
    • Status bar (right)
    • Status bar (left
    • Hide
    • Other
  • Selecting the appearance of the icon.
    • Default
    • Color castle
    • Duck
    • Face ID white
    • Middle finger
    • Octopus
    • Siri
  • Icon color selection.
  • Selects X and Y positions for the location of the icon.
  • Ability to hide the operator icon from the status bar.

The settings section also has a button for respring, which allows you to save tweak options changes.

You can download the tweak for free from the Packix repository. It only supports iPhone X.
