Millions of computers in the world are still running Windows XP

As of last month, 1.26% of all laptops and desktops worldwide are runningThis is a higher share than for younger Windows 8 (0.57%), ChromeOS (0.42%) and Windows Vista (0.12%).

It is worth noting that Windows XP was discontinued in April 2014.That is, Microsoft does not deliver security updates for this operating system.

TechRadar estimates that if there are more than two billion computers in the world, about 25.2 million of them are running insecure Windows XP.
