3DNews named the best processors for a desktop computer.Testing
AMD Ryzen 3200G, AMD Athlon 3000G, AMD A8-9600, Intel Core i3-9100, Intel Pentium Gold G5400, Intel Celeron G4900 models were taken for testing.
Builds with these processors were tested in office applications, browsers, photo and video editors, rendering, archiving and encryption.Graphics performance and power consumption were also evaluated.
Based on the test results, the author came to the conclusion thatmodern budget processors are great for building simple office computers. These models, among other things, have high-quality graphics cores. If we talk specifically about computing performance in office tasks, then Intel processors are often better than AMD. But the models of the "red" are strong in integrated graphics, so they show themselves well in image and video processing.
The AMD Athlon 3000G processor made the best impression on the author due to its combination of price and performance.
