Leopard 2A7V is equipped with a new thermal imagerATTICA-GL for the gunner and ATTICA-Z thermal imager for the commander. They were developed by the German company Hensoldt. Thermal imagers significantly increase the detection and identification range compared to previous generation models. In addition, the tank has Hensoldt SPECTUS II optics for night operations.
The combat vehicle is equipped with an MB diesel engine873. The maximum speed is 63 km/h. The tank also has a reinforced transmission that can withstand additional load without compromising service life.
