The startup Beno successfully presented its Reevo electric bike with the original on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform
Whats special
The main feature of the bicycle is the wheels without spokes.It looks really cool, but many doubt the reliability of this design, because the spokes perform an important function, strengthening and stabilizing the lightweight wheel and preventing it from deforming. In turn, the developers claim that they have carried out all the necessary tests, and the bike can easily withstand loads of up to 120 km/h.

Reevo also received a 750 W electric motor, a range of about 60 km and only one speed - 40 km/h. The frame is made of aluminum, the wheel size is 27.5 inches.

The bicycle is equipped with a GPS tracker, allowingtrack your movements in real time, a smartphone stand, a fingerprint scanner with a lock hidden on the wheel, a USB port and a motion sensor. Both wheels are equipped with LED lighting that flashes automatically when it gets dark outside. It can also be controlled from a smartphone.
How many?
The cost of Beno Reevo on Indiegogo is$1,999, but will retail for more at $3,350. The company raised 200% of the required amount in the first 15 minutes. Now more than $660 thousand have already been collected, with the initially declared amount of 50 thousand, and there are still 26 days left until the end of the fundraising. The first deliveries are scheduled for March 2021.
