As previously planned, Google has discontinuedsupport Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 with updates for the Chrome browser after Microsoft stopped releasing security updates for these OS versions.
In Chrome 110, which is no longer available on olderThe OS fixes some security issues and contains several new features, such as setting up network error pages and the ability to use biometric authentication on computers that have this feature to automatically fill in saved passwords. The release of Chrome 110 also marked the start of a new Chrome cycle in which an early stable release of future updates will be released a week before the stable release.
