The reboot of Battletoads for modern platforms has finally got a release date, and the wait won't be long.
Long awaited return
The new RARE trailer showed some gameplayBattletoads, and announced that the game will be released on August 20th. The project will take over Xbox One, PC (will be available on Steam), and will also appear on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
Players will get a beat’em up about the iconictoads with cartoon graphics and co-op for three. According to the plot, the heroes will team up with an old enemy to stop a new threat. Judging by the trailer, gamers can expect not only endless fights, but also sections with bike racing and platforming.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can already pre-load the game on PC or Xbox One, and the game's system requirements have appeared on Steam:
