Treyarch has released the first update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which fixes the most powerful weapons in the game.

The MP5 has long been plagued by the "broken" curse.guns." In almost every game in the series, this SMG remains the best weapon due to its rate of fire and range. MP5 in Black Ops Cold War suffered the same thing, and after numerous player reviews, the weapon was nerfed.
On Twitter, the official Treyarch account reported that the developers have reduced the effective range for the MP5 and adjusted the recoil. So the PP will remain effective, but at short ranges.
