An international team of astronomers has discovered three new worlds that are several times larger than Earth.
The system is located in several foundformerly the Pisces-Eridanus stream. The planet itself was found in TESS images taken two years ago. A young version of the Sun, called TOI 451, was studied and included in observations in 2019 and 2020 by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. As part of the observation, astronomers have found reason to believe that TOI 451 has two stellar satellites that circle above each other outside the planets.
