A bug has been discovered that could lead to jailbreak of iOS 13.3.1

Jailbreak tools like unc0ver use exploits to extend support to new versions of iOS. Behind

last few months jailbreak unc0verstarted supporting iOS 13.0-13.3, but not iOS 13.3.1. iOS 13.4 is now publicly available, but the main rule of jailbreaking is to stay on the lowest version of the system.

Now the lowest signed version of the systemiOS 13.3.1 remains, but unc0ver does not support this version. Fortunately, a new bug was discovered with support for iOS 13.3.1, which in theory could lead to jailbreak of this version.

If with the help of the bug it will be possible to achieve the tfp0 exploit, then it will turn out the jailbreak of iOS 13.3.1. Unfortunately, the news does not apply only to the released version of iOS 13.4, but this is still a step forward.

Benjamin Weaver, who deals with internaltesting the unc0ver jailbreak, wrote that users should not upgrade to iOS 13.4. He also advised already updated to roll back to iOS 13.3.1, while Apple did not close the signature window.

The hacker and chief developer of unc0ver Pwn20wnd retweeted this tweet, so you should believe it. Nothing is guaranteed yet, but rollback will still not be superfluous.

Anyway, if you are interested injailbreak installation, roll back with iOS 13.4, while there is such an opportunity. If the jailbreak comes out, it is more likely that it will support iOS 13.3.1, and not iOS 13.4.

You can read more about the POC bug on the GitHub page.

Jailbreak checkra1n already supports iOS 13.3.1 and even iOS 13.4, but it only works on A7-A11 devices (iPhone 5s - iPhone X). Jailbreak unc0ver will support newer devices.
