Riot Games is launching a new act in Valorant, with the launch of which a new character and battle mode will appear in the game.
A new act has started
In addition to the heroine Killjoy, the game will feature a systemact ranks. As you play, the Act Rank emblem will fill in with small triangles. Each triangle represents wins in ranked matches (at the level "Gold", "Immortal", etc.). The emblem will show the level of "proven skill" (an indicator of the best wins in ranked matches) in this act. This indicator is calculated based on the best nine wins in ranked matches.
The second innovation will be “Deathmatch” -a new mode in which ten players fight according to the rules, each for himself. The match lasts 6 minutes, and the player who gets 30 kills before the rest wins. Skills are disabled. In addition, every five seconds the enemy’s location will appear on the radar.
The battle begins with the choice of agent and “purchase”.In addition, players will receive heavy body armor. Killed enemies leave behind first aid kits: picking up a first aid kit fully restores your health (or armor) and reloads your weapon.
Deathmatch will be launched periodically as Riot is just testing it. The first launch will begin with the start of the new season on August 5th.
The developers also decided to work on the balanceRaze. The heroine's rocket launcher selection time was increased to 1.4 seconds, and the damage of the explosive pack was reduced to 50 units. In addition, the intensity of graphical effects when launching a rocket has been reduced.
