Today Apple officially announced the updatedversion of the application. In addition to new features and contents, it includes a new design, greatly simplifying the work with the program. Important controls are now always in sight, and the effects browser allows you to quickly browse and select stickers, emojis, and more. Signed buttons make video editing even easier, along with full-screen browsers.
In addition, Clips now supports iCloud. There, a backup copy of the edited file is now automatically created. Besides direct assignment, this can be used to continue editing on another device.
Clips also now applies machine learning:

Clips also has new Disney content, including the popular Star Wars elements. Users will be able to use stickers with Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Darth Vader and other characters. Other Disney / Pixar films, such as Up, have not ignored.
Another major new feature is the Scenes feature.
“... users can choose one of 10 createdApple scenes, each of which includes unique landscapes, heroes, colors and visual styles, as well as two scenes from the movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi. By moving the iPhone X, the user can see the details of the surrounding panoramic scene from all sides. And three-dimensional sound effects make the scenes even more realistic. "
This was made possible thanks to the new TrueDepth camera introduced in the iPhone X. Thus, the owners of the latest Apple smartphone benefit most from the update.
