A video was published with extinguishing a fire on a US warship

As it became known, last Sunday there was the largest fire in the US Navy in 30 years.

A video of the extinguishing of a warship within the framework of this incident was published on the network.

It all happened in the port of San Diego - it was there that the universal amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard caught fire. Moreover, it is important to note that the fire turned out to be so large-scale and complex that it could not be extinguished even two days after it began, even despite the use of helicopters in the process!

San Diego Fire Chief Colin Stowell also spoke about the fire situation. He stated that the incident could be of a prolonged nature, and the USS Bonhomme Richard is most likely no longer subject toRecovery.

Recall that the ship served the US Navy for a total of 28 years. Interestingly, even such a significant period is only half of the planned service life of this type of ships.
