Developer Firefly Studios has announced a remaster of the 2001 real-time strategy game Stronghold:
What is known
Despite the fact that in 2013 the game receivedAn HD version with improved graphics, cloud saves and other improvements, this update promises to be much more. Stronghold: Definitive Edition will feature a 14-mission campaign that will have you wandering through the ruined English countryside in hopes of finding the missing relative of Sir Longarms, as well as 10 Castle Trail missions featuring famous historical fortresses such as Warwick, Dunnotar and Marksburgh.
Of course the game will also get updated graphics,based on the original design, updated music and sounds, including the return of the voices of some of the original actors. Multiplayer mode and Steam Workshop will be supported so that players can share created maps.
Stronghold: Definitive Edition will release on PC (Steam) on November 7th.
