The main story of Final Fantasy XIV will continue on May 23 with the release of a major update to The Dark Throne

Japanese publisher Square Enix has revealed the release date of major update 6.4 for the multiplayer role-playing game

Final Fantasy XIV games.

What is known

The expansion, subtitled The Dark Throne, will release on May 23rd and allow players to continue the main story of the game.

Patch 6.4 brings new story quests, the Pandæmonium: Anabaseios raid, Variant and Criterion dungeons, and The Voidcast Dais side challenge.

With the release of the patch in Final Fantasy XIV, players expect many more innovations, including changes to the PvP system, the balance of some classes, and much more.
