battery on the fly. Interestingly, this vehicle was sent to the Red Planet in order to demonstrate the fundamental possibility of flights in a rarefied atmosphere.

About the unusual capability of a Martian helicopterbecame known thanks to NASA engineers, who reported that the aircraft had successfully completed the charging process. At the same time, apparently, he did it for the first time.

“The fact that we managed to charge the batterieshelicopter, indicates that it safely survived the launch into space and is well on its way to Mars, which will take several more months. This gives us every reason to believe in the success of the mission. However, before the first flight on the surface of Mars, we will need to solve a whole array of complex problems,” – said Ingeniuity project spokesperson Mimi Ong.
