Official: Selling the Honor brand will not affect customers and service in any way

Today Huawei officially confirmed the sale of its Honor brand, after which Honor itself released a statement regarding

of his future work.

Terms of a transaction

The buyer was a consortium of companies thatfounded a new venture to complete the deal. It was named Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. According to insider information, the transaction amount was about $15.2 billion.
The agreement involves the sale of “all business assets associated with the Honor brand.”

The newly created enterprise was joined by several top managers of Huawei, as well as Zhao Ming, the former president of Honor and now the chief executive officer of the new company.

What's next?

Honor's statement says there is no way to make a dealwill not affect the company's customers: customer support, after-sales service, warranty repairs and original services will be available as before. At the same time, new products will be serviced through our own service system.
