Official: ASUS to unveil 120Hz ROG Ally gaming console with AMD chip at May 11th event

After several months of rumors, teasers and leaks, ASUS has announced the date for the presentation of the ROG gaming console

When to expect

According to the official invitation, the device will be presented at the event on May 11. The gadget will debut immediately in Europe, Asia and North America.

The new product will have a 7-inch display with a resolutionFHD, 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness and 7 ms response time. The gadget will run on a custom AMD processor paired with Radeon 780M graphics and 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In addition, the device will have a 512 GB SSD storage, a microSD memory card slot, a cooling system with two coolers, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a body weighing 608 grams.

ASUS ROG Ally will be shipped with the Windows 11 operating system. The console will receive support for Steam and other gaming platforms. The gadget should cost less than $1000.
