The turmoil continues with physical editions of the space RPG Starfield.

What is known

Yesterday

Bethesda's English-language support team reported that Starfield will not be released on disc, and even physical editions will only have an activation code for the game.

The Twitter post was later deleted, which only added to the questions.

Today the Spanish division of BethesdaSoftworks posted a post saying that Starfield will be released on disc, but this is only for the standard edition, as the premium edition and Constellation will be sold with a code.

However, this post was later deleted.

It's time for Todd Howard to clear things up in person.

When to expect

Starfield will release on September 6th for Xbox Series and PC.
