Latest Doom Launches at Record Frame Rate

DOOM Eternal launched at a record frame rate of 1000 FPS. For this we used a cooled computer

liquid nitrogen.

Previously, the lead programmer of the id Tech 7 engine stated that it is possible to achieve 1000 FPS in DOOM Eternal, provided that there is a build suitable for this.

The Polish team of x-kom enthusiasts found one.The PC used an Intel Core i7 9700K processor overclocked to 6.6 GHz, ASUS Maximus XI APEX motherboard, RTX 2080 Ti Strix 2.4 GHz video card, HyperX Predator 4000 MHz CL19 2×8 GB SSD, Samsung 512 GB SSD M.2 NVMe Evo Plus and Be Quiet 1200W power supply. The system was cooled, as already mentioned, with liquid nitrogen.

The YouTube video of the game is of course shown at 30 FPS. But the proof of the record is the frequency counter on the monitor connected to the PC.
