2016.An example of the T-Pod without a cab was released in 2017, with four of them operating on public roads hauling cargo for Oatly, a Swedish food manufacturer. A year later, the company introduced the T-Log to transport tons of giant tree logs. It was more powerful than its predecessor. Einride now has a next-generation vehicle that the company hopes can go into production soon.

All vehicles are electric and can be controlled remotely by an operator, in addition to operating autonomously without human intervention.

Main difference between the four optionslies in their field of application or the conditions under which the vehicle can drive autonomously. AET 1 is designed to operate within a specific geographic area, while AET 2 can move beyond a geographic area using remote control. AET 3 is designed for rural driving, while AET 4 is designed for highway driving.

Einride claims its new vehicles will "cut transport costs by up to 60% and CO2 emissions by 90%."
