According to experts interviewed by the publication, the country's authorities crudely faked problems with the Internet, which they hastened to attribute to external influences.

In reality, 80% of the country's Internet was disabled at the level of the IPv6 protocol, which can only be done by two state providers of the backbone Internet, writes the service for combating DDoS attacks Qrator Labs.

The day before, Belarusian IT startups called on the authoritiesstop violence against civilians in the country. They signed an open letter, where they noted that the country’s technological development is under threat.
