Kotaku editor Ethan Gach has revealed that Ubisoft is starting development on a full-fledged remake of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (2013).
This news surprised gamers and caused skepticism, since Assassin's Creed fans have been waiting for a remake of the first part of the series for several years, but not Black Flag.
However, authoritative insider Tom Henderson, whoseinformation rarely turns out to be erroneous, confirmed that Ubisoft is indeed developing a Black Flag remake, but he cannot provide any specific details, since the project is at a very early stage of development.

From the author:one can assume that Ubisoft wantsmake the most of the developments of the long-suffering online game Skull and Bones, which was originally created as an online version of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. Probably desperate to bring Skull and Bones to an acceptable state, the developers will try to use existing materials to improve one of the most successful parts of Assassin's Creed.
