Publisher Bandai Namco and studio FromSoftware have released a detailed gameplay trailer for the action game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.
What is known
The video shows the main elements of the game:moving through spacious (but, note, monotonous) locations, shooting at a distance and melee fights, sharp maneuvers of mechs when evading enemy attacks, and at the end of the video, traditionally for FromSoftware games, a fight with a huge boss robot was demonstrated.
In addition, the developers showed the process of customizing a combat robot.
Despite the completely different style and concept, in terms of gameplay, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is similar to all modern games from the Japanese studio.
When to expect
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will release on August 25, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
Players can pre-order, including the Collector's Edition, which includes a monumental mech figurine.
