Developers launched Windows 95 on Apple Watch

Microsoft's Windows 95 operating system has been in the shadows for several years now, so what might be a more efficient way

to attract the attention of users, how to install it on Apple Watch?

Developer Nick Lee has taken on a difficulttask: I installed the oldest operating system on a new SmartWatch and got some pretty interesting results. The first thing you'll notice, as Circuit Breaker notes, is that it takes an hour to boot into the OS. The overall results are as follows: Windows 95 runs slowly on the Apple Watch, but the device becomes more functional. In any case, it is more functional than one might expect.

In his blog, Lee notes that the Apple Watchare more powerful computers than those on which Windows 95 was the new operating system. So, running software on a smartwatch makes sense.

To do this, as Lee tells the publication, he had tomodify the Apple operating system. He used an emulator on WatchOS. Because Apple's display turns off when it's not in use, Lee needed one more step to achieve his goal. The developer created a special mechanism consisting of a motor and a tube that rotated the digital crown of the Apple Watch to launch the display.

Interesting? See what came of it.
