
The Defense Technology and Quality Agency (DTAQ) has successfully conducted certification tests
What is known
The tests took place this week at the facility,which is owned by the Defense Development Agency (ADD). The test was attended by specialists from the manufacturing company Hanwha Aerospace, representatives of the Defense Procurement Program Administration (DAPA) and the South Korean military.
KTSSM is a class missilesurface-to-surface. It has a caliber of 400 mm and can hit targets at a distance of up to 180 km. First of all, it is designed to strike at enemy artillery installations.
DTAQ head Jang Bong-gi after the teststated that KTSSM is the best precision guided weapon in South Korea. Successful certification tests allow us to start full-scale serial production.
