Russian scientists have created a battery that can work without recharging for 20 years

Information appeared on the network that Russian scientists from NUST MISIS have created a battery capable of

work without recharging for 20 years.Interestingly, this development canboast not only high energy efficiency, but also a lower price than foreign analogues.

The battery design is based onpatented microchannel 3D structure of a nickel betavoltaic cell. At the same time, domestic specialists also applied a radioactive element on both sides of the so-called planar p-n-junction, thanks to which they managed to simplify the element manufacturing technology.
