The Izvestia publication reported that in Russia prices for goods in online stores may increase by 5%. All because
Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina was warned by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin that there are risks of rising prices.
For this reason, the Chamber of Commerceasks for a refund of the reduced acquiring commission, which was equal to 1% for purchases on the Internet. Russian regulators have previously taken this measure to help trade representatives during the pandemic. The reduced rate was valid until September 30. Now the commission for acquiring is 3-4%.
It is noted that the Central Bank is ready to discuss the issue, but only when the situation in the country returns to normal.
