The tests took place on May 13.They were attended by Roc, the largest aircraft in the world. It is used as a launch platform for hypersonic and aerospace vehicles. This was Stratolaunch's second test at US Space Force Base Vandenberg, California.

The TA-0 test flight lasted for 4hours 8 minutes. He demonstrated the possibility of safely separating a hypersonic vehicle from the central pylon of the Roc aircraft. The test also made it possible to check the telemetry between equipment in the air and communications on the ground.

Zachary Krevor, Generaldirector and president of Stratolaunch, called the test "exceptional." He thanked the leadership of the Space Force base for the opportunity to test the aircraft.

Now the company has begun to prepare for the firstlaunch, within which hypersonic speed will be achieved. To do this, experts will develop a prototype TA-1, which will be equipped with an engine. Testing will take place by the end of 2023.

Stratolaunch signed an agreement with the AgencyUS Missile Defense (MDA). The company's gliders will be used as hypersonic targets. With their help, the US military will be able to test air defense systems designed to intercept hypersonic weapons.
