What is known
So, according to the leak, the Mate 40 will come with 6.5-inch display. The type of matrix is not specified in the documents, but, with a high degree of probability, it will be an AMOLED panel. The smartphone will also have a 4000 mAh battery, a 5G modem and a glass case with the following dimensions - 167.8x77.1x9.95 mm. For comparison, the current Huawei Mate 30 model is slightly smaller (160.8 x 76.1 x 8.4 mm).

There is no other information about the smartphone in TENAA yet,but thanks to leaks, it is known that the Huawei Mate 40 will still be able to boast a 5-nanometer Kirin 9000 processor. The smartphone should also be equipped with a triple main camera, a dual front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The flagship will run out of the box on the new EMUI 11 shell with Android 11 on board.
When to expect
The announcement of the Huawei Mate 40 will take place next month, but you shouldn’t expect the smartphone to be sold on the global market this year.
